Congratulations on successfully finishing the last of the A&P series! Over the course of the last eight weeks we’ve discussed the anatomy and physiology of the Digestive, Urinary, and Reproductive systems. And since we began our study of the human body in BIOS251, we have continuously referred to a unifying theme in Anatomy and Physiology; that is, the relationship between structure and function. The idea that “form follows function” has been the foundation of our understanding of the human body and how it sustains life.
