Initial post:Each student will be assigned a number randomly.  Whatever your number is, select the corresponding topic below, then post a minimum of 5 bullet points about the topic.Your bullet points should address key components of the topic, such as what, how, who, & why.  This information should not be basic things you learned in Med/Surg, but rather advanced critical care based. Think about this as a group effort to create a study guide. Use ONLY your textbook, but do not cut & paste from the book.Then create, find, or borrow a test style question about your topic & post at the bottom of your bullet points. The format needs to be multiple choice or select all that apply. Think NCLEX style. Each week include a paragraph with the results from one of your weekly interviews.Discussion post assignments are worth 20 points each as follows:

• 5 points for answering the question of a peer as your response.
• 5 points for the quality of your rationale.
  • Quality is defined as thorough and thoughtful while demonstrating professional level knowledge of the topic.

Describe the findings associated with malignant skin changes (for example: persistent sores, lump or swelling, bleeding lesions, etc.)

1. Give an example of how you have advocated for a patient, peer or subordinate and the outcome.  How did acting as an advocate help you grow as a leader? (application).

2. Describe an example of strategic or operational planning you have seen in your place of work and appraise the outcome (pros and/or cons) of this planning (evaluation).

3. Analyze the type of organizational structure at your place of work, (which structure does it most closely resemble and why?) How does the structure influence mission, vision, philosophy, and values (evaluation)

4. Which power-building strategies (organizational, political and or personal) have you found to be the most effective for enhancing your personal power and why?  Which has been the least effective or hardest to achieve and why?

 Discussion Post Topic #3: Conduct an evaluation of your current neighborhood or place of work. Are there any population shifts? If so, what are the cultural demographics, and has healthcare made transitions to address these transitions.

Sections of the assignment must include:

• Introduction
• Focus points covered in the discussion posts
• Any arguments and rationales for your stance
• Conclusion or Summary

The components of your APA Assignment includes the following:

Select one current, quantitative scholarly nursing article related to your PICOT question and determine its strengths, limitations, and potential application.
